looking back at the preliminary task i have noticed a significant change within the composition of the magazine, to begin with it was based around a school magazine, however now it is based around the music industry, so there is a very large difference in which the magazines are composed, the context between the two magazines are completely different however the way in which the front cover is composed it could be considered to be very similar. i got most of my ideas from the preliminary task however i have developed it further with the editing of images, by doing this the magazine has a better look which is good for the audience as they will be attracted to the magazine.

evaluation question 6

The use of technologies throughout the process has improved, from importing photos to the computer, to designing a front cover, it has allowed me to gain a greater understanding on the process of making a magazine. At the beginning of the course work i didn't really know what to do, however as the days went by it felt as if my ability to use different applications had improved, the creation of this magazine had been an interesting experience, as i managed to gain extra knowledge on the uses of a computer, by doing this it has also managed to enhance my skills in creating presentations.

With my media product i intended to attract my audience by using iconic musicians within the genres in which i used in my magazine for example within my magazine i've got the famous rapper Jay Z, because of his fame it will attract many people to read the magazine as they have seen a recognisable face, when you have people who attract members of the audience then it would be easier to get more people to purchase the magazine, he has over 30 million fans this means that he would be able to entice people into reading my magazine, also the audience would be addressed by using simple english, not many people who would listen to r&b and hip hop would be able to read advanced english, so its better to keep the style of writing in simple form, so that people would be able to understand what i am trying to put across.

my audience for my media product will vary it can be from a range of different people, most likely to be the younger generation however, there is no age or race or gender when it comes to music anyone is allowed to be a fan of whatever they want, when it comes to the musical industry there isn't any rules for what music people are allowed to listen to, however realistically the typical audience in which would read my music magazine would probably between the age of around 16-30, they could be any race or gender. my media product allows people to get the information based around R&B and hip hop, so if you're a fan of these genres then my product would be highly attractable towards the people
